A prolific purveyor of electronic goodness since 2018, Sclews has recently been making waves with ultra-high-energy performances at Sheffield’s No Bounds festival, AMAZE festival, and Manchester’s The White Hotel, as well as many appearances at Interworld and Algorave/Pattern Club events. A waypoint on the Sclews' journey of frantically working FLStudio like it’s a real-time strategy game, tweaking VST parameters and handling homemade stem/noise loops via inventory management techniques, ‘Tide Turner’ marks Sclews’ second appearance on Interworld Media but also his first full-length release. Named after an obscure community-created weapon in Team Fortress 2, the music immediately jumps on you with his distinctive blend of hyper-frantic beats, high-definition blasts of alien noise, and trance-like synths. PRESENTING: •●°KOM KOM°●• @k_r_romluc is a British-Khmer DJ based in Sheffield, UK. She is a resident DJ for Rebel Soul at Shambala Festival, and likes percussive bassy music from everywhere. She runs the club night DiaspoRiddim with Disorientalist, which is dedicated to promoting the music that is created when borders are crossed and cultures are carried, blended and reborn in sound. Kom has had monthly radio shows on Sheffield's Mondo Radio, and Liverpool's Melodic Distraction for her recent project East Beat, which was an exploration of music from East & South East Asia and the diasporas. She has also created East Beat guest shows for Hong Kong Community Radio, and Hanoi Community Radio. Kom also dabbles in sound collage, and has exhibited a recent piece about Cambodia at various venues including at part of Sheffield's Migration Matters Festival.
