Embedded in every layer of Timber House in Noordhoek, is collaboration; a process shaped through close dialogue between architect, designers and makers.
Travertine kitchen islands by Cannata (
@cannatagranite ) are conceived as a single carved form, gently pulled apart, while oak joinery by De Ruiter (
@deruiter_studio ) integrates quietly into the architecture. A sculptural dining table by MR. (
@instabymr ), created with Driaan Claasen (
@reticencestudio ) and reimagined in 3D-printed sand, anchors the room. In the bedroom, a seven-metre hand-woven mohair work by Frances V.H Mohair (
@francesv.h_mohair ) forms a tactile backdrop, complemented by a ceramic basin designed by MR. with Ckho (
@instabymr +
@ckhoceramique ).
