We were so happy to see this old lady again. The Clementé sofa was part of our range back in 2004, over 20 years ago.
When one of our longtime clients brought theirs in to be reupholstered, we were so excited to see the signature Wunders lining still intact. This is still such a classic shape with strong bones. We gave her a fresh look in this beautiful @stleger_and_viney floral, ready for many more years in her home.
A lovely reminder that our pieces are made to last, grow older with you, and carry on for generations.

The Alex chair started with a simple idea. To reduce waste and make better use of what we already have.
Each piece is filled with shredded foam offcuts from our furniture production, giving new life to materials that would otherwise have ended up in landfill. A small shift in process that has become an important part of how we think about making.
Named after Bianca’s daughter, Alex, these chairs bring a sense of play to the collection, while staying rooted in something more considered.
Part of our ongoing work through @mmakesspace , alongside @heath_nash , finding ways to reuse, rethink and create with intention.
We love turning our waste materials into something new. Seeing these slippers come to life, made entirely from mohair and leather offcuts, has been a reminder of what is possible when we look at materials differently.
Created in collaboration with @leza_co , they form part of our ongoing journey through @mmakesspace , finding ways to reuse what we already have and reduce what goes to waste.
We are excited to introduce this new range, launching soon at the RMB @latitudes.online Art Fair x @designweeksouthafrica from 20 - 24 May in JHB.
We have partnered with @thejoinerysa for this year’s @weareafricatravel , bringing together a shared approach to sustainable design and material.
The Rockefeller Stool, created in collaboration with @thejoinerysa , is made from recycled plastic bottles turned into Grey Futurefelt® and tan leather. It’s a piece that reflects what is possible when waste is reimagined. We’re always looking at ways to reuse and rethink our own offcuts, so this collaboration feels especially meaningful.
@weareafricatravel brings together some of the most inspiring voices in luxury travel on the continent, alongside top international buyers and press, all with a shared vision to reshape how African travel is seen on a global stage. Something we are proud to be part of.

Furniture design has been in our family for three generations. What began with Paul Wunders and his deep understanding of upholstery and top quality fabrics to his son, Peter who officially put the Wunders name on the front of the building in 1995.
But to take a step back, one of Paul’s proudest moments came in 1983, when Peter decided to follow in his footsteps and opened Upholster All. With only two staff members, they went door to door, offering custom upholstery services to homes across Cape Town.
10 years later, with the Wunders factory and retail store in full swing, the business grew quickly. We were soon awarded a number of hospitality contracts, including the @proteahotels , who remain a valued client to this day.
When it all comes down to it, Wunders is about quality. Handmade furniture, design styles that move across eras, and the people who make it all possible.

We love that we got to be part of this, with our classic McKinlay Sofas upholstered in deep velvet colours for these stunning bedrooms.
