Dear Little Bri, You won’t believe what happened last weekend lol. Ok so remember when you used make those movies on your barbie camera and set up screenings for the fam to watch, how you would spend all weekend creative directing performances with your cousins, making the programs, invitations, and then setting up the chairs in the living room for everyone to attend before we went back to school on Mondays. Lol I remember how everyone thought it was so funny that whenever they would play “you are not alone” by MJ you would run in the room and cry and no one could ever figure out why 😅lol girl….I think I finally figured it out…..Later in life Gods gonna put you through an isolation period for like 3 years. It’s gonna feel really lonely and intense…but I promise you…..you’ll start to become the best version of yourself… and then out of nowhere you’re gonna start attracting all of the right people. @jerrymadisonjr who’s gonna be the most amazing friend, leader, and accountability partner, @shameikalhsmith who’s gonna be kind of spicy but only because she demands the absolute best out of everyone around her, @leroycook_ who’s gonna have this really crazy laugh but the purest soul and somehow knows everybody in the city 🤣 and they are gonna introduce you to some of the most giving and loving people in the entire universe….And one day along with all of these people you’re gonna Executive produce and serve as a fiscal sponsor for one of the dopest film festivals this world has ever seen. It’s gonna blow your mind….and you’re gonna be an emotional wreck just like you used to be…. because you’ll finally realize that you were never alone, you just needed to find your way back HOME. Anyway, Just wanted to tap in and let you know…you have a dream but God has a bigger dream for you🤞🏾

For the opportunity to pour back into the community that raised me. For allowing God to work through us to share these stories and create such an impact. Thank you guys for bearing your hearts on that stage, your passion, creativity, commitment, and your bold and unapologetic dopeness has inspired me so much. Being able to work with you guys has seriously made me a better performer but more importantly a better HUMAN BEING. I pray that God continues to bless your journeys and open up SUPERNATURAL doors for you to continue to bless this world with your one of a kind gifts! To every volunteer, every single person who bought a ticket, who flew from various cities to see the show, who donated and helped us feed over 300 families with @starofhopemission who donated to help sponsor TSU students to see the show, I seriously can’t thank you enough. This is what community is about…I am seriously overwhelmed yet SO SO SO honored that God and Thee CHEF BEANZ trusted me to support this mission. Our inaugural Movie Merry-thon 🎄🎬 Custom cocktails, a hot chocolate bar, gingerbread treats, Polaroid ornament keepsakes, and an interactive night built around movies, laughter, and real community. In collaboration with Innerspace Studios (@innerspace.studios ) a nonprofit advocating for mental health in the arts, guests stepped into an immersive space to write letters to God with reflections, prayers, and intentions we’re believing into the new year together. As a part of TRANSPARENCY Houston, we have partnered with the Star of Hope Homeless Shelter to launch the Intentional Consumption Food and Toy Drive. Cast and crew will join residents of the Star of Hope Women and Children’s Center to prepare and share lunch, distribute food and toys, and build community through meaningful connection. Beyond providing meals, the focus is on intentional presence and conversation—fostering dignity, joy, and a sense of belonging during the holiday season. This is especially important amid the current government shutdown, which has reduced access to food and assistance for over 350,000 families in the Houston Area!
