Story Time. So these photos were taken nearly 10 years apart to the date. Traveling to countless campuses to inspire others to grow while also trying to figure out how to harvest in my own life was exhausting.. But we push on. We adapt. We keep goin.
A decade later and we arrive here on the @tedxinglewoodca stage. Notice how the body language nearly mimics each other because the intention never changed. Impact. This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine ✨
A long way from packing up and moving to Cali with a couple hundred in the account.. but we’re here.
A long way from spending my last on a restaurant booth and using my air mattress as a back drop.. but we’re here.
A long way from writing my first play in the notepad of my phone.. but WE’RE HERE.
In Times Square NYC promoting Transparency the Play HTX. This moment brought me to tears. Not just for being proud but an ode to resilience. Grateful for the present but also foreshadowing what’s to come.
God is the greatest! This is just the beginning.. 🚀

A journey to say the least.. this process has been challenging yet rewarding. Every time I question if I’m on the right path or doing the right thing, there’s always a sign to keep going.
S/O to the amazing cast & crew for dedicating themselves to the craft for months to help bring the story to life! S/O @atthedeluxe for opening their doors and helping us elevate the experience.
And of course s/o to @im_briana_monet & her non-profit organization @innerspace.studios for co-producing and making magic happen. In addition to show, we were able to provide over 300 meals for the @starofhopemission in Houston as well as get tickets sponsored for over 30 @tsutheatre students! We even made it to Times Square 😉🚀
As ordinary people, we will continue to do extraordinary things no matter the journey ahead. We just gotta keep goin..
