Curated and hosted by KGNU women DJs, this special centers women’s voices, especially those too often pushed to the margins. At a time when equity in music is still far from reality, the 2025 Make Music Equal Report found that men represent 79% of the dataset, resulting in their dominance across almost every sector of the music industry.
This show is about shifting that balance, creating space, and celebrating the artists whose stories and sounds deserve to be heard. Tune in for music, reflection, and celebration of women in music.
