This Friday at the Carole Nash Hall in Manchester. @renzniro ‘s first headline show. All my shows mean a lot to me, but this one feels especially emotional because it’s the first @the_emerald_planet commissioned work. In collaboration with @bothymcr , RenzNiro has been working with @carmelsmickersgill to create a classical rendition of his music, performed live with an ensemble. Me and Carmel first talked about this idea over dinner in September 2024, so it’s mad that it’s actually happening now. These clips are from today’s rehearsal in town, plus rehearsal videos from @lenachalema and @salo.mcr .This will be Lenacha’s Manchester live debut and Salo will be presenting her unreleased piano EP “it rained today”.

It worked really well + looked cool and sexy. Would not have been able to do this without Dee. Thanks @noakurzweil for your trust :)
