The first in a series of works for saxophone and electronics, enclosure 1 is a piece inspired by medieval anchoress, Lady Isabel German. You’re all invited as we explore how sound, place and body can weave together to create the types of expansive spaces fostered by anchoresses.
BOTHY’S NEXT GIG is in collaboration with @the_emerald_planet and it’s going to be a special one. On Friday 21st, we head to @stollerhall to perform with Mancunian multidisciplinary artist, @renzniro - expect all of his usual razor-sharp aphorisms alongside live ensemble (arranged by Bothy’s own @carmelsmickersgill ) for the first time!
