Impetus presents ’Enclave’: a collection of work from Hasvat Informant, Dj Ali, Sirenik, Connor Wall, E-File and Cobber. Enclave links the pockets of variegated forms of contemporary Australian techno. From the groovy, deep and psychedelic, the diversity in sonic palette reflects the Australian physical landscape, vast spaces contrasted with sharp contorted edges.

The project explores feelings of emotional dislocation, products of a hyper-functionalism accelerated by pandemic culture. Impetus_001 evokes this intensity sonically across 4 dancefloor oriented tracks, integrating peripheral genres of the hard, deep and hypnotic techno styles to form the aesthetic focal point of the release.
