CONNECT is coming to Muloobinba/Newcastle - a free community gathering for artists, DJs, labels, promoters and the wider electronic music community.
On Sunday 3 May at 12B Lounge, Clyde St Arts, @msmariaamato (CEO, @ausindies ) joins @janeslingo (Director, EMC) to discuss advocacy, funding pathways and practical support for independent labels, alongside the launch of new free artist and label resources developed by EMC for AIR.
A second conversation brings together @urthboy (@elefanttraks ), @assemblercode (@international_chrome_ ) and @cinnamonkween.jpg (EMC) to explore building labels outside traditional industry pathways, creating impact from a regional base, and what artists should know before signing anything.
