Funny how we pivoted from weeks in pre production for a completely different story that never happened to producing 28 DAYS in just 2-3 days. A beautiful short film on women’s cycle and now it has grown and keeps growing bigger than us.
When @imoheboh presented the idea of hosting ‘Menses…? What’s that?’, a a conversation specifically designed for girls aged 9 -16, to speak to another and learn about puberty, menstruation, and body changes, I didn’t let her land before carrying it on my head. This honestly was the most fulfilling thing I did as a Producer last month.
Hearing these 18 young girls share freely and openly with one another, deconstructing misconceptions, learning and not wanting the conversations to end was everything and more. Shout out to the Super Moms 🥰and Dad.
