전시 «VHS(Very High Signals)»에서 소개하는 작품 중 고대영의 <파피용(le papillon)>(2025/2026)은 소리가 없는 영상으로 만들어졌다. 이를 바탕으로 1월 17일(토)에는 스페이스 이수에서 영상 상영과 함께 이민휘, 최태현의 라이브 공연을 진행한다. 이 공연은 전통 무성 영화 상영 시 영화 장면의 진행에 맞춰 연주자가 라이브로 공연하는 형식을 차용한다. 이민휘와 최태현의 곡은 서신처럼 제작한 영상 <파피용>에 대한 회신으로, 이번 공연을 통해 처음으로 공개된다. 공연 이후 전시 기간 중에는 공연 실황의 소리가 영상과 함께 재생될 예정이다. 더불어 당일 공연에는 I.M.F와 Peach Truck Hijackers의 라이브 공연이 함께 진행된다.

The video work Le Papillon (2025/2026) by Daeyoung Ko, presented in the exhibition VHS (Very High Signals), was created as a silent film. Based on this work, on Saturday, January 17, Space Isu will host a screening of Le Papillon, accompanied by live performances by Minhwi Lee and Taehyun Choi. The performance adopts a format inspired by traditional silent film screenings, in which musicians perform live in synchronization with the progression of the film.
Notably, the pieces by Minhwi Lee and Taehyun Choi serve as musical replies to Le Papillon, a video work structured like a letter written to the artist’s friends, and will be premiered at this event. After the performance, throughout the remaining exhibition period, the recorded sound from the live performance will be played alongside the video. The event will also feature live performances by I.M.F and Peach Truck Hijackers.
