Massimo has spent more than 35 years listening to wood: its grain, its weight, its memory. At Il Borro, he crafts most of the furniture you see around the estate entirely by hand, each piece a quiet conversation between maker and material.
Some of his works begin as wine barrels. Once they’ve held their last harvest, he gives them a second life: shaped into something new, something lasting.
