"This collection inhabits the world of the Sirens; underwater mythical creatures teaching sailors of spirituality, sexuality and personal power through the tying of technical knots.
Driving this work is the spiritual significance of Celtic Knots. Having practical roots in sailing, these symbols became a method of representing the cyclical nature of the stars, the seasons, nature, and human existence. Celtic knots express the infinity of the cosmos, and of love.
Knots can be the start and the end, secure something in place, join two disparate pieces together or a problem we are trying to unravel that sometimes doesn't have a solution."

Do you spot the jacquard designs by Judith Sharkey ( @iko.la ) ? The knits were featured in the Student Collection Runway during Melbourne Fashion Week!
‘Labradorescence’ began by alchemising properties of its namesake crystal, labradorite. Led by themes of imperfection and revelation through close inspection, the collection transforms discarded and damaged clothing into evolved garment designs. The imperfections of these foundational pieces are reimagined into new configurations, in turn revealing their lasting potential.

What a way to end my show! Go Jo Go! <3 ngl I thought Jo would be scared off of me when, towards the end of a date, I drunkenly asked her and Beth to model - but she wasn't, and if anything relying on her in that way brought us more closer 2gether <3 she was patiently calling the food an Uber to the university (impossible task) and knew exactly when to hold my hand ❤️ the next day - she helped me clean up the show after and my lecturer tried to head hunt her (!) she is that much of a star talent, we got a late lunch & I asked her to be my squirlfriend becoz I knew she was the one & you can't let an angel like go <3 Jo is the love of my goawd damn life ❤️! endlessly supportive of me, cute and nice ! Also lets have some Eri @erika_slut__ appreciation up in here! This is my baby sis! (But she is older than me in every way that counts!) She honestly has gotten me through this degree and all my creative pursuits - the runway was no exception! Yes, you best believe she was hand sewing the dress right before this moment too! Gabrielle is so stunning and a model from birth (I called the long neck when she was literally weeks old) and my better half (if that didn’t mean romantic partners but literal siblings that always are by ur side!) I love you to pieces! I am so lucky lucky lucky 🍀This dress was such a challenge in pattern making! and If I didn't have my booey fit model with me - there is absolutely no way it could of happened!
Also big massive WOW to Nicole @nicolita.d who is so calm and professh and her use of colour and precision in with lines is out of this world! and I want to also publicly apologise for not giving you enough time!
Also to Steph @1800r3v3rse who is such a whizz stylist and was literally dry needle felting these leg warmers so fast, I turn around and she was already so done I had to say "woah Nelly" Steph also is just the best mentor/bosss/frewnd a chicka could ask for!

Unfortunately Amanda didn't get their very own photo, but that's ok because they stole the show! (and I told them to walk fast like Balenciaga so it's my fault errybody!) Amanda perfectly embodied the concept of the "knotted reverence!" and I am soo thankful! Steph took them out the back somewhere and makshifted some underwear shoes out of LITERAL scraps of fabric! I have no fricken clue how they pulled this together because it is so siren, more than my wildest dreams <3 !!
and also massive thanks to Jedda's (@pocket.m0ney ) mum! who had the best angle and someone should hire them for videography for these kinds of things because it is literally my fav documentation ever!

Umm Beth gets the most hugest cheer as always! She was such a rock of emotional support, she put her hand up straight away to model and stayed so calm and grounded when I thought every thing was about to fall apart at times - she'd have thought of just everything and was taking happy disposable camera snaps and pouring the champagne!

Chelsea on the runway in the tiny shoes covered in grandmas knitted socks and you wouldn't even know they INCREDIBLY hard to walk in, because she strut so gracefully!

Having the opportunity to learn and develop ma styling was ver special pour moi, and being entrusted with local designers @toile__studios and @willemworldwide.w garments given I admire their work so much was the dream ☁️

Ma laptop got stolen in May and the most devastating thing about it was loosing all of my 3D modelling work 😭over the last 6 (is Ocotober six months ago?) months anyways- I had grand plans to use this obj file for lots of cool stuff and I finally got around to recreating it, better and faster than ever!! (please excuse terrible video editing :P)
This is the port for the Sailor's Siren, just as my guy departs for the many months away at sea, a vision, perhaps tinny radio feedback, perhaps sleep dep, perhaps a lingering vab, perhaps Siren call welcomes him to the ocean once again ...
