Samtidig skulle vi ønske at skaperleddet var representert i panelene. Filmpolitikk er kulturpolitikk, ikke (bare) næringspolitikk. Da må skaperne være med i debatten.

Norwegian Dream Im Verleih von: @editionsalzgeber Robert ist 19, kommt ursprünglich aus Polen und arbeitet in Trøndelag, Norwegen, in einer Fischfabrik an der Küste. Seine Mutter ist verschuldet und auf seine Unterstützung angewiesen. Als er sich in seinen Kollegen Ivar verliebt, den schwulen Adoptivsohn des Fabrikbesitzers, möchte sich Robert im heteronormativen Fabrikarbeiter*innenumfeld nicht offen zu seiner Homosexualität bekennen und beschließt, seine Gefühle für Ivar zu verheimlichen. Als beide zusammen nach Trondheim fahren gerät dieser Entschluss jedoch ins Wanken. Greatful 🖤🙏🏽 One person asked me after the screening how we can change Norwegians look on Poles. And I guess it’s really a question how we all could fight with ours, and other peoples preconceptions and prejudices. Knowledge, competent politicians and leaders, education, dialogue not polarization, fair taxations - hindering an unequal society, working labour inspection agencies (“arbeidstilsynet”), free langue courses for immigrants, equal pay for equal work, culture and pop culture that does not repeat stereotypes and tropes, a functioning civil society (ngos) and strong democratic institutions, politicians that do not enrich themselves, friends and/or family (nepotism) as well as legislation that ensures equal rights for minorities (like anti-discrimination legislation) are some things that come to mind that I off course forgot at the Q&A. @filmfondet_filminvest @norskfilminstitutt @moinfilmfoerderung @spaettfilm
