PART II
The ADA (First born, First Daughter) is having a baby?! Big Sister Gloria is about to be a mommy fr this time. This one hit different. It was no longer just us in our bubble anymore.
We took my little sisters into one room and had them read the letter, they were excited and emotional at the same time. This would be the first time it went from just us, four to yet another addition to the family. They were still getting used to having Kwame around - now a Baby?!?! It was an emotional shift for us 4. Especially baby last, I was no longer going to be just her Sister Mommy, but now a real mommy. 🥺💕
Now of course, shifting to my parents. The famous Aunty Linda is about to be a whole grandma, what do you mean? My mom’s reaction really came from facing so many medical trials over the past couple of years. It hit most when she yelled, “Jesus, I’m alive to see this.” My dad as quiet as he was, he also, felt the same sentiment. My parents have been through so much, have buried so many of their friends — this moment in time is highly appreciated. Something they couldn’t but thank the Lord for.
This news is God’s special gift to our home. Quite literally, a confirmation of His word. #pregnancyreveal

Every time I lead worship, I always ask the Lord what He wants to say to His people. The night before Resurrection Sunday, I couldn’t sleep — I was so excited! So, I asked the Holy Spirit for understanding. He led me to Matthew 28:1–6 (NIV).
As I read it, it all made sense.
This joy I was feeling wasn’t random — it was the reminder of hope. Resurrection Sunday isn’t just a moment; it’s a declaration. It tells every believer — not one left out — that 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝.
We’re not fighting for victory. Jesus already won.
Even on days when we feel low, discouraged, or just tired… the cross and the empty tomb remind us:
𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱. 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲.
Sometimes we get caught up in trying to “do everything right” — but that’s often because we forget (or maybe haven’t fully grasped) this truth:
𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭.
𝐘𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞.
So this is your reminder:
The battle has been won. The victory is yours. And 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 — not today, not ever.
That’s why I was so excited.
That’s why I’ll keep worshiping.
That’s why I’m posting this.
