Tag @kayali in the comments because I was so inspired by their capri in a bottle perfume. I’ve had it for a couple of months but something about the scent notes really reminded me of what summer smells like. This is the perfect layering scent to give you that bright lemon zest that is present in every European summer. Spraying this scent transports you to places you need to be, remember inspiration comes from everywhere but this deserved its own piece of content. Plus I really missed creating perfume content, it’s been some of my favorite to express how the scent notes make me feel. Definitely doing more of these.

I’ve always been different and to be honest I kept a running line in my head everytime I dressed up. Why can’t I be “normal” today? As I tucked my whimsy behind what I thought was acceptable. In my early 20s everything bothered me and I felt like I had to bend or ever break to fit into the molds people who didn’t even have a mold had built. Until my 30s, like a butterfly out of a chrysalis I emerged realizing that the one actually controlling the narrative was me. I snapped realizing that the voice I had given everyone else was my voice and it was okay to be me. The extraordinary, never normal, always weird , always questioning, perfect me. I didn’t have to prove my perfection I just had to embody it. ✨

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, single, married and in all communities. Truly a life changing experience, I got exactly what I prayed for. Even though it may not look typical it’s the most peaceful and most loving life I’ve ever lived. My children have truly brought out the best version of myself I could ever be. I’m so thankful I was chosen to parent such beautiful children. I’m truly blessed. 🥹
Had the pleasure of going to @arwayemenicoffee new location in Addison & honestly the visuals speak for themselves. One thing I love about Arwa is not only the sense of community I felt there but everything tastes DELICIOUS. The tea is so well made and there are so many options, i LOVED the tiramisu and their Yemeni latte. Funny thing is I went there a couple of weeks after moving so to be invited was such an honor. Behind the process and let’s get real for a second. The met gala is a creatives playground and even though there are mixed reviews fashion is art was a PERFECT theme. I think because we are all unique individuals everyone interpreted it differently. There were so many amazing works from so many artists from different walks of their profession it was amazing to see. When I think of the type of things that inspire me wearable art will always be one of them. Even though this was my first time ever painting a dress I really think I’m going to be doing this all summer, it’s so much fun! #metgala2026

You never know where inspiration can come from unless you seek it. I got inspired by magnum ice cream and the luxury they created. Just know I’m a picnic girl so I wanted to create something out of the box. The only thing unique about us as individuals is our art so why not wear mine?
