𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲 “I am interested in ontology, I am interested in the human, at this level. And I am also interested in a process of re-signifying the body and the disabled body.” Monica Barone is an Italian dancer, performer and visual artist. Her artistic research focuses on the aspect of authenticity and the possibility of developing one's own biography and re-signifying it. The theme of human evolution is at the core of one of her latest works, “Umano Disumano Postumano”.
