Hi all. This post has been long, long overdue.
A year ago, I directed a pilot. As someone who watches a lot more TV than I do movies, I am so grateful that I got to learn what it’s like to work in the TV space alongside some incredibly talented folks. Today, we screen at @nfftyfilm@topvoicesusc
Not only was our pilot selected to screen, it was also nominated for Best Episodic. I’m excited to share these stills and clips with you all to give you a taste of the work we did.
I am immensely grateful for our incredible crew and cast. Thank you to the writers and executive producers for trusting me to execute their words and bring them to life. To our crew—you rocked it. To our cast—character is king, and you were all royals. To my fellow directors—thanks for being my rock.

To me, this is a story about how the pursuit of a dream can lead to the loss of self. I think many of us, as filmmakers and artists, know that push and pull all too well.

Happy new year! Remember, new years is an arbitrary end/beginning that we created as a society. Anything you and I were fighting for in 2020, we must continue to fight for in 2021. Neither a different president nor a vaccine will fix an unjust and exploitative national system or the imperialist global system we currently enforce. This year, and with each day, be better. Confront more. Confront YOURSELF. Recognize where you are falling short. and CHANGE it.
Please do not forget what 2020 taught you or all this bad will have produced nothing good.
