ICNCLST is honored to announce its latest project with Louis Vuitton - ‘White Canvas: LV Trainer in Residence’. Developed by the Maison from an idea initiated by its former Men’s Artistic Director Virgil Abloh in partnership with Sky Gellatly, ICNCLST CEO, the project employs the emblematic all-white leather low-top LV Trainer as a blank canvas for artistic exchange between Louis Vuitton and contemporary artists. An invitation for free expression, the collaboration builds on Louis Vuitton’s historical ties to artistic spheres by evolving its ongoing creative conversations with diverse domains of knowledge and genres. For the first installment of ‘White Canvas: LV Trainer in Residence’, ICNCLST and Louis Vuitton identified three key artists shaped by the 1980s’ New York underground scene to reinterpret the LV Trainer. Now established names in contemporary art, Lady Pink and Lee Quiñones, and the Estate of the late artist Rammellzee, reinvented the sneaker through the inimitable lenses of their practices. Coinciding with the launch is the exhibition, ‘White Canvas: LV Trainer in Residence”, is on view at Garage Traversi in Milan until March 16. The event marks the launch of the collection by the same name, a new initiative through which the Maison welcomes contemporary artists to reinterpret the emblematic LV Trainer through their respective practices. Curated by Sky Gellatly, it unveils the first installment of the project featuring reinterpreted LV Trainers by artists Lady Pink and Lee Quiñones – who appeared at the opening – and the Estate of Rammellzee. The exhibition features the artists’ original hand-painted sneaker adaptations within the context of their works, as well as multi-media installations charting the collaborations. Commercialized versions of the limited-edition LV Trainers will be sold at the venue.

Last November, ICNCLST partnered with @nikenyc to host a watch party for the @nwsl Championship at @thegroundnyc More than 200 youth players and families from across the local soccer community came together to celebrate the game and cheer on Gotham in their historic win. For the night, The Ground was transformed into a true clubhouse — a bespoke locker room photo moment, a Gotham foosball table featuring custom female figurines, an @easportsfc gaming station, a T90 customization station, and rooftop futsal overlooking the city. A night celebrating the continued rise of the @nwsl and the next generation of players and fans. New season loading.

@skygellatly is a cultural strategist and co-founder of @icnclst , the creative agency and talent representation firm known for bridging contemporary art and global brands through exhibitions, collaborations, and strategic consultancy. As CEO, he has led landmark partnerships connecting artists and institutions such as @Futuradosmil , @themuseumofmodernart , @NinaChanel , and @summaeverythang with brands including @Nike , @theMarcJacobs , @CommedesGarcons , and @Google . Previously at Complex, MTV, and Details, Gellatly sharpened his instinct for culturally resonant storytelling. On November 18, a talk session titled “FUTURA In Conversation with Hiroshi Fujiwara and KAWS — Why Tokyo Still Matters” was held at The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon @toranomonedition . This special event was organized to commemorate FUTURA’s visit to Japan and his 70th birthday on November 17. Moderated by Masafumi Watanabe of Bedwin & The Heartbreakers @bedwinner , the discussion brought together FUTURA @futuradosmil , KAWS @kaws , and Hiroshi Fujiwara @fujiwarahiroshi —three luminaries who have profoundly shaped contemporary street culture—each sharing their perspectives on Tokyo’s enduring appeal.
