Public lands aren’t optional for us. The U.S. Forest Service manages 193 million acres of the forests, trails, and water we spend time in. That work depends on strong stewardship, access, and decades of scientific research and on-the-ground knowledge. Recent changes, including relocating headquarters and closing regional offices, put that foundation at risk. What gets framed as reorganization can mean less capacity, less science, and less stewardship for the places we all rely on. With a low snowpack year, wildfire risk is already higher. Less support means less capacity to manage it. The U.S. Forest Service and public lands are personal to us. Their value to this country is hard to overstate. Places shaped over centuries can be changed in a single season. We’ve signed onto the @conservationalliance statement alongside other brands supporting long-term stewardship and access to public lands. Tap the link in our bio to send your senators a letter opposing these cuts. We’ll keep showing up for these places and people. @outdooralliance @conservationalliance #ibex #publiclands #publiclandsinpublichands

What makes the Mammoth Hoodie so special? It uses @nuyarn fleece built for the cold — insane warmth, breathable on the move, and built to perform when temps drop. Andrew, our Head of Sourcing, walks through the @nuyarn construction that makes Mammoth warmer, stronger, and more breathable than a standard fleece. Tap link in bio to watch full video.

Today we give back to the places that give us everything. This year, it hits a little different. Across the country, the places we love are facing real pressure, protections being rolled back, access being challenged, and landscapes being opened up to development and extraction. These aren’t distant issues. They’re happening right now, in the places we hike, ski, camp, and depend on. We can either fight to protect these places or watch them be lost and changed forever. Today, 10% of net profits go to the @conservationalliance . Right now, the @conservationalliance is putting that work into critical fights like: • Defending the Roadless Rule — keeping millions of acres of wild backcountry off-limits to development. • Protecting the Boundary Waters — stopping mining threats in one of America’s most iconic wilderness areas. • Protecting Alaska’s D-1 Lands — defending 28 million acres of some of the last truly wild landscapes in the country. #earthday #publiclands #wekeepitwild

Your gear should leave an impact—not your packaging. We’re proud to use packaging that doesn’t last and that’s exactly why we work with @betterpackagingco Built from corn starch, PLA, and PBAT, these bags are completely biodegradable, non-toxic, and free from BPA, phthalates, and GMOs. Here for a good time, not a long time. It breaks down in 3–6 months in a home compost (even faster commercially). Safe for worm bins, bokashi systems, and the backyard pile. Earth Week sale: 20% off select gear + 10% of net profits to the @conservationalliance Use code: WILD20 at checkout

Today is a hard one for the outdoor community. The Senate has passed H.J. Res. 140, overturning a 20-year mining ban that protected the watershed of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. By using the Congressional Review Act in this way, lawmakers have opened the door to sulfide-ore copper mining in one of the most pristine and ecologically sensitive landscapes in the U.S. This isn’t just about wilderness, it’s about people. The Boundary Waters support over 17,000 jobs and generate $1B+ annually for local communities. These protections weren’t just environmental, they were economic lifelines. We’re deeply disappointed. And we know we’re not alone. Your voices mattered, even if this wasn’t the outcome we fought for. Thank you to Senators, our partners @conservationalliance and organizations including @outdooralliance and @savethebwca — for standing up and fighting this til the end. This decision sets a dangerous precedent for public lands nationwide. There is still a path forward to protect the Boundary Waters and we’ll keep showing up for the lands and waters we all depend on.
