What a treat to see the Loewe Craft Prize IRL and to speak to Patricia Urquiola (she told me she just finished a hotel project in Japan!) 👌🏻💚😍
Also, our May issue is all about craft, what the hands can do and why it still matters. Felt very fitting to be here. 🤍

BEHIND THE COVER: TOUCH
I have been thinking a lot about what makes us truly human in this age of AI. Ultimately, I think it lands in same place: the heart, the hands and the touch.
There’s something quite ironic and funny about the fact that AI can’t draw hands properly, especially since our hands might be the most human thing about us.
The slow caress of a lover. A parent’s hand on your shoulder. That charged moment before a first handshake. Almost everything you’ve ever felt, made, or ruined has passed through your hands.
When we paint, cook, carve, caress, we leave something of ourselves behind. So it felt right that this issue’s cover story was inspired by @aesop ’s new hand serum. A small ritual for the part of us that does the most and complains the least.

Last day of March. The final (unofficial) dispatch from our March Pop! issue. Gutted these didn’t make it, but I thought I would share them anyway.

I have always believed in the power of three—in trilogies, in triptychs, in the idea that the most meaningful stories unfold in threes. A beginning, a shift and a becoming.
Our March anniversary Pop! issue has been so fun to put together. The three-act cover story conceived by three different photographers, each depicting a different stage of life, is a triptych that mirrors our own evolution over the past three years.
One of my favorite things to do at GRAZIA is to highlight and give platforms to talents who are often overlooked. This month, we shine the light on 8 local graphic designers whose work are not only vibrant but so impactful. Elsewhere, it is a celebration of pop art, memes, fashion, and fandom, making this our most playful issue yet.
If the first year was about discovery and the second about defining our voice, this third feels like expansion. Bolder colours, bigger conversations, sharper wit, more collaboration and most importantly more community.
Here’s to serious thoughts, unserious joy, and three years of staying POP! Happy Birthday @grazia.my 🎂🎁🥳
