A month after I started hand sculpting each scale , to casting the body, pouring the silicone and airbrushing all the details I have officially finished the first full silicone mermaid tail in Bulgaria for the very special @atlana.mermaid @petkova.p.beaute . For * From royalty to the Ceo’s Christmas Princess* Artie played by @connanaaron had to start the show with bright blue hair to show off his rebellious side and playboy lifestyle. Due to the nature of the Vertical drama genre I was facing a lot of time and budget restrictions when having to come up with a wig for the character. So I ended up buying a cheap human hair wig in 613 colour, and refronting it. Then when I was done with the construction and ventilation it was time for colour. I had picked a few blues but at the end @sirdannyfarber said what his preferences were, so I ended up playing with a few blues throughout the hair to give it the feeling of an at home dye job with a grown out root. The schedule was crazy at times and me and @hmubylyds_ had to sometimes apply and remove the wig 2-3 times a day. The quickest we applied the wig was less than 5 minutes. Had so much fun turning @sophiebaverstock BALD about a month ago for her latest course. Bald cap from @kryolanofficial For application i used Pros-aide from @neillsmaterials Also mixed a custom PAX paint to match Sophie’s skin tone and on top layered the lighter Flesh tones alcohol palette. I remember teaching myself how to do bald caps before I even started university the moment I got a Red head, and comparing them with this one I can see how far I’ve come with application and colouring. I have been more and more interested in 3d work over the past year. You can see some of my prints, 3d snap moulds, sculpts, scans and negatives in the carousel. @djmalinowski recommended me a @bambulab_official A1 printer , and I have been using it for the past few months to print all of my tests and prototypes. I think learning how to 3d scan and process data is going to become very important in the next few years, so learning how to retexturise and work with scan data has been an important skill for me to learn. Filament used is PolyMaker PolyTerra PLA from @neillsmaterials in the colour Fossil Gray @stuartbray73 ‘s account has been very helpful with ideas and processes. I’m still playing to figure out the best settings for my 3d printer, and also software so any feedback is welcome.
