Not sure what @mauriziocattelan expected from asking 400 people to participate in a 2 hour completely silent 🤫 #RenBen Art Gala, but at least six of them (us) were promptly ushered into a stairwell for disrupting, which in turn caused even more explosive bursts of laughter. Maybe it was the electric energy between group silence or maybe it was the @hi.snaps I passed out to everyone in attendance… Regardless of our misadventures, the evening raised a record breaking $600,000 for the @rensoc , proving that once again in a world of turmoil, art triumphs. 🎨 💕

With a mind wired for association, her practice centers on the moment something familiar begins to feel slightly different, opening up new ways of seeing and experiencing the world. Okay so @Hi.Snaps has officially taken over my entire personality and I’m not even a little sorry.  Day 100-something. I’ve lost count because I’ve been too busy inviting every single one of you into the wonderfully silly world we are building one snap at a time (hi guys, yes “we” are building it together, with you 🥰) I didn’t expect how many people would message me to say that they’ve been looking for an exit ramp from drinking culture, that they’ve been done with alcohol for a while but didn’t want to be the weird one at the table, or that they still want to go out and socialize, be silly, unwind, take the edge off…but not regret it with a brutal next day hangover.  And to the ones in my DM’s who are like — wait, 🌱 this is an option? Yes! 🙌 This is an option. Our mission is not to ask anyone to quit anything. We’re just offering another way in, with a little less stigma, and a lot more curiosity. And watching the brand reveal itself little by little as @allisonparc and I take on each unpredictable day has been a true all encompassing joyful challenging adventure. Thank you for being here with us every step of the way 🤍 we are just getting started.

Grateful to be included alongside so many inspiring stylish people who make this city feel vibrant, expressive, and alive. 🏙️ I guess this makes me a full blown Chicagoan now 😊 and forever thankful to the creative friends & artists who help make getting dressed, feel like a fun, act of imagination. Sometimes the best part about a special occasion is the occasion of getting dressed👗 Shoes that change the way you walk 👠 , jewelry that punctuates 💍, and the ritual of hair and makeup that makes a look totally yours 💄. And the dress, oh my god the dress 🥰 I haven’t worn a piece like this @houseofgilles haute couture mini dress since my wedding. 💒 The hand-draped tulle bodice, hand-pleated chiffon skirt, my very first hoop skirt (like a proper Gilded Age lady) and the hand-crafted flower and cape that turned me into a very specific type of superhero. Although the joy of a full Cinderella transformation is temporal, it reminds me to savor moments of play, creativity, and self expression while we are able. And of course, the real beauty is always the kind that lives on the inside — the kindness, the humor, the resilience, the stories we carry — and with the people we share it with. Counting my lucky stars for life to be so full of both. Thank you @gillesmendel @chloemendel for the #Oscars2026 memories!
