The “women & whisky” conversations have changed A LOT over the past 20 years — thankfully. And it’s a massive honor to participate in those conversations over the years with @brennewhisky . When doing the interview for this, I admired journalist @eleanordrinks for NOT asking “what’s it been like being a woman in a male-dominated industry” but instead, “how are you thinking about whisky industry at the moment?” And “how have you seen global whisky evolve” — this the a true market of change (imo) to not focus on the fact that gender makes people different but INSTEAD be interested to find out how a different life experience may result in a different answer to the same questions being asked broadly across the whole industry. 👏👏
