As we count down the months until Rashid Johnson’s homecoming exhibition at the MCA, we’re thrilled to see works by Johnson and so many other friends of the museum featured in the New York Times's coverage of the @ObamaFoundation , including Mark Bradford, Nick Cave, Theaster Gates, and Lorna Simpson.
We love that these artists’ works will become part of the fabric of everyday life on the South Side—woven into the experience of the Center for generations to come. Congratulations to all 30 artists selected for this incredible project. We can’t wait to experience it in person.
