Happy International Women’s Day! ✨#iwd #iwd2026 Truly, I long for the time when we don’t need it anymore - when women’s brilliance is so visible and normalised and celebrated that we don’t need a day every year to remind people of the reality of it. IN THE MEANTIME HOWEVER… I am beyond proud to announce that I am the ambassador of this absolutely badass @icmpuk scholarship, which will give the winner full funding in a BA Hons Creative Music Production. Once upon a time, a scholarship changed the trajectory of my life, giving me a career so full and joyful that I never could have pictured it for myself. 🫠 This scholarship is for the FULL RIDE - a three year undergraduate education - for free. 🎓 So I would encourage anyone - regardless of age - and especially women, minorities and those from a lower socio-ecomic background (like myself) to apply. Please share this post as much as possible; I wanna see loads of enthusiastic applications! Oh hey, so this is an end-of-year post. Nothing fancy. 2025 held a lot of career wins for me, but personally outside of work it’s been a weird-ass year. Not planning to get into heavy details just now (‘cause yeah, some of it’s been difficult, life-changing stuff) but I do want to express a little gratitude for a handful of individuals. @katbiglife , @austelmusic , @intriplikit , @katietavini , @arthurvorsatz , @rhiannonbrum , Mum and Dad; I couldn’t have done 2025 without you. Thank you. 💜✨ Honourable mentions to @mscocodeville and Zac, who I’m looking forward to spending more time with in the imminent future. Thank you to all my beautiful clients and colleagues who have become pals in the past 18 months or so. You know who you are. Couldn’t have done it without you either. Sometimes when things get really batshit, it’s hard to see how far you’ve come. This post is a little reminder to myself of that. Back in 2020 when I started, I couldn’t imagine the life I have now. So, yeah, gratitude ennit. Manifesting more joy and less weird for 2026. 😜Join me?

One of the great joys of my job is when a stonkingly brilliant project lands in my lap completely unexpectedly. So it was with @bugeye_music and their truly phenomenal new album The Shape of Things, which is out today. I have to thank another of my wonderful clients @katfive_ for the referral, because this project was such a great start to the year. I also want to thank @angelamartin_music and @katabaticc for being so willing and open to get into the weeds of the vocal capture process with me. Your talent and humour made every session so joyful, I couldn’t ask for better clients. Can’t wait to work with you more in the future! Happiest of Release Days to my dear @blisscarmxn on this brave and epic track “Never Wanted”! Started when I was back in the Old Street studio, and drawing from all our #americana influences (see @ironandwinetour @cityandcolour_official ) as well as our established faves @perfumegenius and @sufjan , this one came together so quickly and with so much warmth. ✨ Bliss’ writing on this track is so deeply and beautifully vulnerable in its simplicity; one of the factors that draws me to working with them again and again.
