本次分享將放映錄像作品《Grinding_tw》，並介紹其類似「打金農場」的多螢幕裝置構想。
同時，藝術家將分享在宜蘭羅東駐村期間的研究方向，探討他如何將這套數位考古視角，延伸至宜蘭在地軍事殘影、都市塗鴉地景的觀察與梳理。當歷史遺構變成了無限生成的「副本」，我們在畫面上看到的究竟是過去的餘燼，還是遊戲引擎中永無止境的勞動循環？
This sharing session will feature a screening of the video work Grinding_tw and introduce its multi-screen installation concept, which mimics the aesthetic of a "gold farming rig."
Simultaneously, the artist will share his research direction during his residency in Luodong, Yilan, exploring how to extend this digital archaeology perspective to the observation and mapping of local military shadows and urban graffiti landscapes. When historical remains are transformed into infinitely generated "instances," are we witnessing the embers of the past or an endless cycle of labor within a game engine?

✎ 關於 Stanza About Stanza
人工智慧將如何影響未來城市的治理？而這樣的影響又將如何轉化為觀眾可以親身體驗的藝術形式？
Stanza 的作品融合線上虛擬數據層，建構出一種「第三空間」（Third Space），為共享數據的虛擬世界開啟新的可能性。這些作品引導觀眾對想像中的未來展開探問——在這些未來中，新科技若以包容與協作的方式被運用，將能帶來解放、賦權與連結。
然而，新科技的發展前景取決於其背後的意圖與動機：這些技術是否會引領我們走向一個連結與解放的烏托邦世界？抑或它們將對我們進行控制，使我們彼此分離、加劇分裂，並建立更多界線？
How will AI affect the governance of the future city, and how will this manifest itself as artworks an audience can experience?
Stanza's artworks merge online virtual data layers to create a Third Space, enabling new possibilities in the virtual world of shared data. The work invites inquiry into imagined futures which use new technologies to liberate, empower, and connect when used inclusively and collaboratively. The prospects of new technologies depend on intent and motivation: Will such technologies see us in a utopic world of connection and liberation, or will they control us, separate us, divide us, and create more borders?

Following his residency in Prague last year, Poyuan has now arrived at Surfy Space to begin a new chapter of his practice. ✎ 關於 阮柏遠 About Poyuan Juan
阮柏遠是一位居住於台北的藝術家，專注於線上遊戲、虛擬環境與技術過時的美學。他的實踐位於數位考古與新媒體藝術的交會處，利用遊戲引擎、3D 成像工具創作錄像與互動裝置，探索網絡酷兒敘事、數位社群，以及模擬與記憶間逐漸崩塌的界線。
曾入圍 2024 台北美術獎 (Shortlisted for 2024 Taipei Art Awards)，並於高美館、台北數位藝術中心、關美館舉辦個展。作品曾展出於巴西 Festival ECRÃ、雅典數位藝術節、米蘭機造電影藝術節、香港 Videotage、英國 Videoclub 及台北市立美術館等。
Poyuan Juan is a Taipei-based artist engaging with online gaming and virtual environments. Situated at the intersection of digital archaeology and new media art, his work uses game engines and 3D imaging to explore queer narratives, digital communities, and the boundary between simulation and memory.
✦ 本次駐村計畫 Residency Project
柏遠將延續以雕塑與影像為核心的創作脈絡，透過立體投影、3D 貼圖與羅東街區獨特的建築風貌進行對話。他將觀察羅東的日常景觀，並與過去在台北等城市的視覺經驗進行比較，探討地域性景觀如何影響影像與雕塑觀念的交互作用。
The project will extend the artist's focus on sculpture and moving images, using 3D mapping to create a dialogue with Luodong’s unique architectural landscape. It seeks to compare regional visual experiences and explore the interaction between image and sculpture.
