It’s the one year anniversary of my first @hyper_action_brix post, so here’s my biggest one yet, part 3 of my ongoing series!
Slides 1-6:
4 months after abandoning the mantle of Synapse, Josh Foster has made a name for himself as Voltage, the electric defender of Suncrest City. He’s taken down some small timers, but there’s a crisis on the horizon.
After the public embarrassment of Synapse rebelling against the Cerebrum Corporation, Daryl Baker is out for revenge. In secret, he funnels money into the Hype Extraction and Relocation Agency (HERA), a private military aimed at tackling superpowered individuals.
HERA soldiers in mechanical armour patrol the streets of Suncrest City, capturing heroes and villains alike. Meanwhile, Baker publicly unveils Neuron, the Cerebrum Corporation’s replacement for Synapse; an Android capable of flight, ranged attacks, and impressive strength, with no room for rebellion. Baker plans to use this android to secure a monopoly on crimefighting once superheroes are eradicated by HERA.
Also on the rise is Plasmax, a violent new crime boss with cybernetic upgrades that give him the ability to fire superheated gas from his fists. Voltage has been attempting to tackle Plasmax for over a month, and with heroes dwindling in the city and HERA no match for him, he’s only grown in power.
Taking down both HERA and Plasmax is a challenge unlike anything that Voltage has had to face before.
Slides 7-13:
After barely escaping Obsidian, a mysterious HERA soldier in a heavily armed power suit, Josh upgrades his gear and sets out to stop Plasmax before it’s too late. He finds him surrounded by the bodies of HERA soldiers, and in a moment of sheer determination, lets out a bolt of electricity that fries Plasmax’s technology.
After that, he goes head-to-head with Obsidian, only winning the fight when S.P.A.C.E. steps in. Obsidian is revealed to be Daryl Baker! He is arrested, his assets are seized, and S.P.A.C.E. obtains the Neuron android for their own use.
With Baker firmly in the past, Voltage looks to the future!

Bat Hunter is a well known gun for hire in the criminal world. If you’ve got a pesky hero running around, he’s your guy. He’s famous for the tactical bat hunting equipment he uses to draw out Hypes. A sonar lantern that attracts bats and Hypes alike with its many frequencies, sedation darts to capture live targets, and of course many different fire arms depending on the job. Speaking of jobs, he’s got a hit out on Canvas in Staten Island for an unnamed client, the message was signed in a mysterious ink.

Bat Hunter has marked his target. He’s found Canvas and plans his attack.
Canvas completely caught off guard on a regular city patrol, is ambushed. A fight ensues and Canvas is starting to slip. Superhero name: Devil Forge
Name: Aaron Lockland
Superpowers: with his mind he controls black cube which can creates any weapons, armor or anything he images. Cube has limits and more harder to imagine, creation can fail, for example, if he wants to create car he has to have knowledge what is inside and outside so construction can work.
Origin story: He was trained to be ruthless assasin and villian. He never get to meet his dad and was raised by his mother who was a part of assasin organization called "Black day Cult". Despite his grey morally he always looked up to heroes like StarCape who carried help to everyone not judging them by who they were. Kill after kill, Aaron grew more disgusted by himself and his behavior. That's when he decided to escape from brotherhood and start his own hero journey to help others.
Yet his strenght wasn't enough, as his brutalism made him look scary and intimidating. Aaron soon realised he can't copy StarCape ideals and decided to choose and forge his own path.
Coming up with name was easy for him. Wearing jacket with devil face and forging weapons made him choose nickname "Devilsforge". His main enemies were assasins from his old brotherhood and guy who named himself "Diamond". Probably his clone as they shared similar look. There also "FastElectron" who can fight with infused energy of electircity and "Smokepuff" who can teleport anywhere he wants with his smoke. They are antiheroes and well, not very likable around other superheroes.
Well Devil-forge is not afraid to kill, but for the sake of him trying to be a hero he tries to stay as pure as it's possible so in future he might become a worthy hero.

CRIMSON CHEETAH 🐆🥀
Corey Smith, a veteran vigilante born 1966, grew up in the streets of Harlem with his father. With his father passing away when Corey was only 16 years old, he moved to Staten Island and joined a local gang. After a falling out with the gang that left a real blood feud, Corey was on the run. He found himself angry and in search of power. Walking down the street one day he heard a payphone ringing, weird he thought, but answered. It was a monotone voice recording that ended with a loud cat roar. It sounded too good to be true, obviously a sketchy government project named C.A.T., but Corey didn’t care.
Present day Corey is damn near a war vet in the streets of NYC. A mentor for fellow vigilantes on his radar, especially Canvas, however being a vigilante always means he has his own problems. Villains.
The Nord, a viking clad goofball with a HUGE braided mustache.
Sheetah, a former C.A.T. project experiment went wrong, now turned jewel thief.
Bonobo, a musician turned cymbal monkey in circus freak lab (to be expanded on 😉)
and last but certainly not least, The Courier, a serial killer newspaper boy obsessed with staying relevant on the front page. (co-created by @foolsfigures )

The Eclipse
Part One:
Dark Herald
It was a sunny and chilly day, nothing was really happening. StarCape patrolled the city as usual, only stopping a few small crimes.
- I guess that's how it will be today...
He flew on one of the nearest buildings, took a quick rest and grabbed a bite.
Suddenly, a shadow fell on him. He looked up, confused, to see the sky had darkened. Only a sliver of the sun's light could pass through the blinding dark of the eclipse.
He detected a figure clad in blue robes, standing in front of the covered sun. The figure was outside the stratosphere, but Starcape's superhuman eyes could still spot him.
In an instant, Starcape launched himself to the skies and soon he came face to face with the dark creature. It spoke to him in a strange tongue he could not understand
ܐܗܣܗܗܩܘ݂̈ܡܐܕܫܕܢܕܕܕܓܚܟܓܬܪܗܣܒܘܒܛܗܫܐܕܠ-
Whatever the alien said, he thought it couldn't be for good. His assumption proved right when the creature lunged at him.
Starcape was able to avoid the blow, swiftly charging up his sunfist for a counterattack. His strike landed, knocking the alien back. But now he could feel his power waning. With no sunlight to regain his strength he was left almost powerless. The now furious alien readied his fist, and plunged it in Starcape's face. Dizzy, he plummeted onto the ground at a hyper sonic speed landing in the middle of Saint Petersburg, his crash making a pile of rubble.
Tattered and broken in the ruins, he was left in the mercy of the alien, he thought it was all over. He closed his eyes, bracing for the hit as the alien raised his arms.
POOOWWW💥💥
A beam of ions crushed the alien, who flew back with an expression of pain and disbelief.
Once the smoke cleared, Starcape could see his savior. Iron mantle had arrived.
Before the two heroes could exchange a word, the alien leaped off the ground with a shockwave and fled into the darkness of space after speaking again in his foreign language
ܣܛܓܥܬܪܘܩܟܘܣܓܗܐܫܨܠܡܢܘܛܓܓܣܗܬܦܣܛܗܒ-
Starcape was in no condition to follow him, and iron mantle had to take care of him. But they both knew this wouldn't be the last time they would see this dark figure.
The polar bear and mr penguin
He might have the size of a human right now, but when you make him angry he can grow bigger and sronger, even to the size of a big, terefying bear.
The polar bear lives in Old York and has worked in the underworld with crime bosses like Midas, but lately he’s been working for a mysterious villain known as “the Goblin”. In his service, he smuggles illegal items, such as dangerous chemicals and even Omnitopieum, into Doctor Acid’s laboratory in Infinity City. He’s richly rewarded for his services; he was even given an early prototype of Acid’s robots. This early version has its own personality, unlike the newer models. He became Mr. Penguin, the polar bear’s assistant.

Dark Talon, the 2nd most freared villian in Ursa City.
He is the master of shadows, able to create whatever he chooses out of them. It is even said that he is able to cloud the brightest day in darkness.
His true name is Kyle Wren, known for living on the outskirts of town with his falcon, Hunter. Out there in the quiet, he plots his attacks on the city. Once he's ready, Kyle and Hunter disappear and the two become shadow creatures even some heroes fear.

Shadowsword
He grew up in North Korea, where, as you can imagine, he didn’t have much. His mother died in childbirth, but his father took great care of him. He taught him discipline, skills, and a traditional fighting style passed down through generations. So, his life wasn’t all that bad, until his father died when he was only fourteen.
Now he had nothing left, so he started stealing to survive. But he ended up in prison, a terrible prison designed to break him. He spent five years there and then found himself back in the same situation.
One day, his life changed. A meteorite with supernatural powers from another planet gave him not only a highly refined katana and nearly impenetrable armor, but also a stronger body, better vision, and faster reflexes.
He began committing crimes again, but this time he was actually succesful. Naturally, he clashed with the military a few times, but this time he managed to survive. The government, of course, kept this secret from the outside world, but somehow someone found out: a mysterious being, known as “the goblin”. This creature helped him flee the country.
Now, along with a robot specifically designed and equipped for the task, he hunts down superheroes from space. The droid was designed by the goblin, and the goblin feeds it all sorts of intell from all over the world, even from space itself.

CANVAS X HOPPER: The Frost Case
A collab with the homie @haon.brx for our @hyper_action_brix heroes Hopper and Canvas
After investigating several shipments of a freezing component with shipment ledgers for the mysterious “Frost” moniker coming into Staten Island, Canvas traces the cargo back to Infinity City, Nu Block.
With Boreal Beast defeated, Canvas and Hopper begin to decipher the letter.
They trace it back to a frozen over warehouse on the edge of Nu Block and hear strange howling from inside.
Hopper and Canvas kick their way inside and are immediately greeted by the man himself, Jack Frost. “So you are the 2 so called heroes meddling in my icey plans, and Canvas so far from home” he says.
“It’s time to wrap things up” Canvas shouts back. “Not so fast” Jack sneers as a pack of timber wolves appear from the halls behind him. Canvas makes quick work of the animals sticking them together with ink, but as he does a growl echos behind him. Hopper springs up and reluctantly kicks the lunging wolf in fear of hurting the animal. Canvas thanks her. They begin trading ink swings, spring kicks and icey blows back and forth between the 2 parties unlimitedly ending with Jack’s defeat. Canvas binds him with ink chains and they examine the ice bomb devices Jack was trying to freeze the city with. They get a strange feeling that this isn’t over…
Thanks for reading if you made it this far, the OC hero posts are a lot of fun 🤙
