In 2018 I started Make Sure Your Friends Are Okay for a selfish reason I didn’t say out loud, I hoped someone would check on me while I was struggling with my own mental health issues and depression.
What I didn’t expect was how many people also needed to hear this message & how many people needed to also be checked in on. I didn’t realize at the time how many it would reach and how many real conversations it would start.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month so keep checking in on your friends and on yourself. Keep having the conversations. You never know who needs it.
