Babylon: Key Art + “The Evolution of Cinema” — The first piece showcases a #keyart concept I designed for #Babylon (2022), starring #BradPitt and #MargotRobbie. It captures the film’s chaotic, opulent descent into self-destruction through the vivid imagery of flaming #celluloid. The second is "Babylon: The Evolution of #Cinema," a social media video carousel I developed from concept to completion. This campaign used teaser clips to highlight historical milestones depicted in the film, requiring me to carefully edit scenes for the rapid pacing of social platforms while preserving the film’s narrative rhythm. The result? A #Clio Award-winning campaign for Short Form Social Media Video. "Where’s SpongeBob?" Search-and-Find Games — This #Clio shortlist award-winning social carousel challenged fans to explore a meticulously curated, panoramic scene of #BikiniBottom, filled with thousands of SpongeBob SquarePants assets. Initially, the concept tasked audiences with finding #Fred, a fan-favorite character in the #SpongeBob universe. However, as the scale of the artwork grew, I proposed expanding the challenge to include a variety of characters and objects, evoking the spirit of the “Where’s Waldo?” books. The project didn’t stop at the carousel: standalone 1x1 units highlighted other dense and dynamic settings, such as the interior of the #KrustyKrab and a bustling Bikini Bottom parade. The result was a #gamified visual experience that delighted fans and sparked #engagement. The stakeholders were so excited about the results, they hilariously responded with their own artwork depicting me on the wall of the Krusty Krab in place of SpongeBob as the undisputed employee of the month. In the end, the carousel received over 35K likes on Instagram: /p/Cxn7n8dpj-I/ See more cool creations at: #SpongeBobSquarePants #Nickelodeon #WheresWaldo #Gamification #Cartoon #TomKenny #huddycreative #advertisingdesign #commercialart #keyart #entertainmentmarketing #artdirector #creativedirector #seniordesigner #jayhuddy

The Twilight Zone: Key Art Concepts — For Jordan Peele's reboot of The #TwilightZone, I developed #keyart concepts that honored the series' legacy while introducing a modern aesthetic. One design bridged the original and reboot, visually connecting #RodSerling and #JordanPeele through a combination of iconography from both series, unified by the classic Twilight Zone spiral vortex. Another concept took the form of detailed #schematics, highlighting hero props and objects from specific episodes, peppered with cryptic notes that teased plot points and mysteries. I also created an animated concept video showcasing designs for a #lenticular press kit that would change appearance based on the viewer's angle. A more ambitious idea was to coat the press kit boxes in #Vantablack, a synthetic material that absorbs almost 100% of light, making it one of the darkest substances known. However, this concept was ultimately scrapped once preliminary research revealed it was toxic to the touch. These explorations epitomized the bold, out-of-the-box thinking that The Twilight Zone both embodies and inspires. Pet Sematary: "Under The Covers" Pulp Horror Book Covers — To promote the latest installment in the #PetSematary franchise, I designed a series of pulp horror #bookcovers inspired by the 1970s and 80s aesthetic of #StephenKing novels. Each cover teased a pivotal scene from the movie, featuring distressed textures, ominous taglines, and period-specific #typography. The challenge was capturing the essence of King’s iconic style without directly referencing him, as his name was not approved for use in the film or its marketing. A last-minute addition of fake book review pull-quotes from fictional Ludlow publications further enhanced the authenticity of the designs. To elevate the campaign, I animated the covers to open and reveal clips from the scenes depicted in the #artwork. Though these covers were never released due to the film’s underperformance, the project stands as a tribute to vintage #horror design and creative problem-solving. Star Trek: Picard - Social Campaigns — This collection showcases social artwork I created to promote Star Trek: #Picard. Highlights include nostalgic promotional artwork for a live Captain Picard Day event hosted by Sir #PatrickStewart, a holographic depiction of #Worf and Raffi, a neon travel poster inviting audiences to Sector 6, and more. Additionally, I produced engaging videos including one that informs viewers of safety guidelines for visiting a #Borg cube, and another that contrasts alternate realities governed by the #Federation and the Confederation. These pieces were designed to immerse audiences in the Picard universe while driving engagement and excitement across Paramount’s social platforms. Star Trek: Lower Decks - "Back To Lower Decks" — Among the many pieces I created to promote Star Trek: #LowerDecks, this campaign stands out as one of my favorites. Tasked with ideating hero art concepts for the new season, I proposed an #unconventional idea: showcasing the characters with their backs to the camera. While initially meeting resistance to some who insisted on a need to show the characters’ faces, this approach leaned into an "If you know, you know" appeal, leveraging the established fanbase’s familiarity with the characters’ silhouettes, costumes, and settings. While risky for a season debut, this strategy worked perfectly for an established audience familiar with the series. The resulting "Back to Lower Decks" campaign was a #viral success, sparking discussions in Star Trek fan circles and earning media coverage in Bleeding Cool. It teased the new season by withholding direct character reveals, transforming mystery into anticipation and celebrating the fandom’s insider knowledge. Star Trek: Lower Decks - Tendi's Selfies — "Tendi's Selfies" was a concept created by social media strategist Zach Ames. It debuted in the first season of Star Trek: #LowerDecks and was so resonant that it became a staple throughout the full length of the series. Creating these images using show assets from Titmouse across all five seasons became one of my favorite recurring assignments. Each image captures a #selfie taken by #Tendi during a pivotal or humorous moment from an episode, offering fans a playful glimpse into what they could look forward to. This campaign was a hit across social channels, serving as the perfect #teaser for upcoming episodes while reinforcing Tendi's lovable and enthusiastic personality. Halo: Key Art + Social Engagement — For the #Halo TV series, I created key art that channels the raw intensity of the franchise's conflict: a #Covenant energy sword piercing through a flaming #Spartan helmet. The #juxtaposition of fire and the ethereal blue glow of the weapon highlights the brutal clash between humanity and alien forces while evoking the iconic imagery central to Halo’s lore. Additionally, I designed #interactive social pieces, including an animated coin toss screencap game featuring #MasterChief’s hero prop coin. Fans could pause or screenshot the loop to call heads or tails, blending in-universe authenticity with dynamic audience #engagement. Bonnie Schiffman: Documentary Shorts — To promote the launch of famed celebrity #photographer Bonnie Schiffman’s collection of #NFTs on @OpenSea , I produced a series of #documentary shorts inviting viewers into “The Bonnieverse” as she shares the first-hand stories behind her iconic images. Each video highlights a specific theme or work—her deep love for the @Polaroid SX-70, the ritual of starting every shoot with a great lunch to build trust, and the unforgettable experience of photographing #MuhammadAli in the twilight of his career. These personal reflections, paired with her timeless portraits, offer a rare, behind-the-lens look at her process, capturing not just the #celebrity, but the humanity of her subjects. Together, these #shortfilms provide a moving visual journey through Bonnie’s artistic legacy. The Twilight Zone: Easter Egg Carousels — For Jordan Peele's reboot of The #TwilightZone, I designed interactive social media carousels that immersed viewers in the show's layered storytelling. Each carousel showcased key scenes from episodes, challenging the audience to uncover hidden #EasterEggs tied to the episode’s themes and the series’ larger mythology. Additionally, a Halloween #binge playlist execution incorporated a mix of Easter eggs from both the original series and the reboot, offering fans a nostalgic scavenger hunt through The Twilight Zone universe. These campaigns not only celebrated the show's intricate #storytelling but also engaged fans by rewarding their attention to detail. How many Easter eggs can you find? IF You See Them: Gamified Social Engagement — For the John Krasinski children’s film IF, I crafted this search-and-find experience under the creative direction of Monchaya Ngaolertloy, evoking a live-action Where’s Waldo. Building on the success of a similar campaign I developed for SpongeBob SquarePants, this execution presented a unique challenge: seamlessly blending live-action assets instead of flat, two-dimensional characters. The result is an immersive visual hunt that delights audiences while showcasing the film’s whimsical array of imaginary friends. Without peeking at the answer key, how many can you find? Star Trek: Discovery - Social Engagement — This selection of #artwork represents my creative contributions throughout the entire run of Star Trek: #Discovery. Highlights include an alien record album inspired by a memorable scene where fan-favorite alien Linus plays the piano. A vintage #travelposter invites viewers to “ride The sands” on the desert planet of Q’mau. Another piece invites fans to choose their “away team” based on characters from the show. Lastly, Tig Notaro’s character shares her favorite drinks based on show-themed wordplay. These works demonstrate a dynamic approach to enhancing fan connection with the series.
