Goodbye, my sweet prince. I’ve never loved a dog as much nor enjoyed being a dog’s second butler more. Dodger’s health has been declining the past few years (heart failure, kidney failure) with a sudden turn for the worst (pancreatitis). His little body couldn’t take it anymore. I loved waking up to him laying on my feet (the perfect pillows), coming home to an excited cockapoo wiggle, talking to him in a horrific British accent and teasing him for being a UKipper. He was our third best friend, so integral to our family unit, I burst into tears when I walked into our Dodgerless home. I couldn’t have survived my mother’s death without him and I think he knew that. Thank you to all our friends (his beloved sitters) who took such good care of him over the years. ROMANTICISM by @hanavuuu is out today! This is a recreation of Artemisia Gentileschi’s “Mary Magdalene in Ecstasy.” For this album, we recreated different baroque paintings, primarily by Artemisia Gentileschi, to evoke the high emotional drama Hana brilliantly captures in her album.
