Grace took these adorable photos at Shane and Kelsey’s dirtbag wedding one year ago today and I’m posting them NOW

wrapping up another SAR summer 💛 I love my team, I love my dirtbags, I love eating ice cream by the river. it’s special because it’s beautiful and I made it
Manny and Dana got married last month (!!!) and the wedding reception was mostly hacky sack. and a bit of moshing. I ❤️ my dirtbags
📸 all by hero @staticnomadic who almost got kicked in the face just to get the sack circle action shots
boy oh boy! what a beautiful season what a beautiful place what a beautiful life! this spring has been my best yosemite season yet.
highlights: we celebrated Cassy’s birthday with her family, I did my first NIAD (and then another!) with some beautiful and strong women, I silked the alcove with some angels, I climbed Steck-Salathe and Astroman for the first time (and didn’t even cry in the Harding Slot 😎), I rescued some friends from some tough situations, I climbed Zodiac with Cece (and Cassy), and last but not least I soloed El Cap in a day (!!!!!!!!!) I’m so happy. more to come.
photos 3&6 from @staticnomadic ❤️
I went to Cochamo this winter and it was all I could have dreamed of and more!
huge shout out to powdered milk, hand drawn topos, rest day beans on the fire, my $15 rain boots, and to Fiona and Isaac for putting up with me. thank you to every friend that offered beta and gear and rides to get me there and back!
sometimes when you’ve spent so much time on the road to climb the climbing itself can lose its luster, doubt creeps in, your psych fades and you worry if it’ll ever come back. I had such a rough first season on YOSAR I was doubting just about everything. Cochamo brought back all the psych and then some, I can’t wait to return ❤️
