Our @talentaccelerator_ recent Work Taster with @hospitable_environment introduced young people to community arts practice. What does this mean? What possibilities lie ahead? How can art foster community building?
They crafted zines, designed badges, brainstormed ideas, and started conceptualizing themes for the upcoming open call. Big thanks to Hospitable Environment!

We’ve officially submitted Newhaven’s bid for UK Town of Culture 2028.
This isn’t about one organisation or one idea - it’s about a whole town coming together.
Over the past few years, something has been building here. New energy, new people, new ideas - alongside the communities who’ve always been part of Newhaven.
This bid is about recognising that, and building on it.
A huge thank you to everyone who’s been part of the conversations so far - and this is just the beginning. If we’re lucky enough to take this forward, it will be shaped by the people who live here.
Let’s see where it goes.

Very excited to follow this project from the brilliant @lookagainnewhaven … JOIN IN! ♥️
We are lucky enough to be working on a new project in collaboration with @supermundane and @dawneast - we are building activity packs to go into schools and other youth oriented organisations all along the coast - Seaford, Newhaven, Peacehaven, Telscombe Cliffs and East Saltdean.
The culmination of our Community Of Kindness project will see the artworks and posters of local children displayed everywhere from lamppost banners to bus stops and billboards and paste-ups.
Many schools have already signed up, particularly in Seaford and Newhaven. However we would love to have Peacehaven and Telscombe Cliffs schools and youth clubs on board, so please get in touch @lookagainnewhaven if you are interested!
The project will happen in December, with artworks going on display in January.
