ECU Building 8 Refurbishment | Contract Award
We’re excited to announce that Hoskins has been awarded the ECU Building 8 Refurbishment at Joondalup Campus. The project supports ECU’s School of Education relocation from Mount Lawley campus and includes:
- Staff accommodation and theatre refurbishments (Levels 3–5)
- New specialist learning facilities designed for modern collaboration

A proud moment for Hoskins.
Our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan has been formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia - a meaningful step in our commitment to strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
As part of this journey, we partnered with the incredible Ngarluma, Kariyarra, Nyul Nyul and Yawuru artist @bobbilockyer to create our commissioned artwork, Together We Build.
The piece reflects who we are and who we are becoming:
- Circles for knowledge, integrity & collaboration
- U-shapes for the people and partnerships at the heart of our work
- Colours of land & sea, grounding us in respect for Country
- Pathways showing our promise to walk together toward a shared future

This sophisticated, design-led transformation was completed in a live, operational environment—featuring global material procurement, a new café and bar, premium amenities, refined collaboration zones, and a stunning external deck for everyday use and events.

Yesterday, we joined the Karni Walbirniny Koorliny – Walk of Truth and Healing, a powerful community event curated by the Elders and the Galup Arts Project team (produced by Same Drum).
Held on Whadjuk Noongar Country, the walk was a moment of truth-telling, reflection, and unity — reminding us that reconciliation is a journey we must walk together.
Inspired by this year’s #NRW2025 theme, Bridging Now to Next, we reflected on how past lessons can guide us toward a stronger, more inclusive future.
