Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our Music Bingo Night for the Jack Fortune Foundation last night. Your support, generosity, and energy mean more than words can express. From playing, donating, buying raffle tickets, grabbing merch, and simply showing up, every part of the night helped us continue creating opportunities and making an impact in Jack’s honor. We’re incredibly grateful for this community and everyone who helps keep Jack’s spirit alive. Long Live Jack Fortune🧡

Happy Military Spouse Appreciation Day 🇺🇸 There’s something military spouses understand better than most people: how to keep moving forward even when things feel uncertain. 🤍 And honestly? Those same traits matter a lot in today’s real estate market too. Patience because the right buyer, the right offer, and the right timing are worth waiting for. Resiliency because not every deal goes perfectly, but setbacks don’t mean failure. They mean pivoting and pushing forward. Focus-driven mindset because when you know your goals, it’s easier to tune out the noise and make smart long-term decisions. “Semper Gumby” Always flexible. (Military families know this one WELL. 😂) Plans change, timelines shift, and adaptability becomes your superpower. Whether you’re buying, selling, relocating, or just trying to navigate this market without losing your mind, these traits go a long way. And if you’re feeling overwhelmed? You’re definitely not alone. To all the military spouses out there balancing strength, sacrifice, and flexibility every single day, this one’s for you. 🇺🇸❤️ #militaryappreciationmonth #militaryspouseappreciationday #sempergumby #metrowestma

These past two weeks at Home Base became more than a program. They became a reminder of what can happen when a group of men stop carrying everything alone and finally allow themselves to be seen. Every man in this cohort showed up with different experiences, different scars, and different ways of surviving. Some carried military service. Some carried the job. Some carried years of silence, anger, grief, or disconnection. What stood out most was how quickly titles, backgrounds, and defenses started to disappear once honesty entered the room. Over the course of these two weeks, this group built something real. There was accountability without ego. Support without judgment. Humor in moments where there easily could have been isolation. The kind of connection that only happens when people stop trying to prove they are okay. At the end of the program, I was honored to be selected as Honor Man by this cohort and presented with a jersey signed by the men I spent these past two weeks growing beside. That recognition means a lot because it came from people who witnessed the real moments throughout this process. The difficult conversations. The breakthroughs. The moments where walls came down and trust took their place. That jersey is more than a gift. It represents shared struggle, earned respect, and two weeks that reminded all of us that healing starts when honesty finally outweighs survival. I came here carrying weight. I leave here carrying names, stories, and brothers I won’t forget. RESET.

Some of us got so good at surviving that we never realized we skipped the part where we were supposed to heal. We became the reliable one. The calm one. The one who kept moving because slowing down meant feeling things we buried a long time ago. Eventually that survival mode stops becoming temporary and starts becoming your identity. This week made me sit with that. Not the surface version people see, but the exhaustion underneath always being “on.” The pressure to hold it together. The anger. The distractions. The constant motion just to avoid silence for a few more minutes. I’m heading home different. Not cured. Not magically fixed. Just lighter. Lighter because I finally stopped acting like I had to carry every damn thing by myself. Maybe the reset isn’t about becoming someone new. Maybe it’s about finally being honest enough to be good with who I am. RESET. #responderreset #authenticitywins #carrywhatitgaveyou #firstresponderwellness

Right on Hereford, left on Boylston, and there it is. I’d heard people call it a religious experience. I get it now. I thought about how many things have to go right for one person to cross that finish line. The cold, the snow, the long runs where I questioned the whole thing, the hills, the miles where stopping felt like the most reasonable idea in the world. I really tried to embrace the quote by Ken Chlouber, founder of the Leadville 100, “make friends with pain, and you’ll never be alone.” I thought a lot about how lucky I am. Lucky to be alive. Lucky to have an amazing support system (@cassieg_11 being a huge part of that). Lucky to be in pain because of something I chose to do. Also, still a little surreal that I got to be one of @bankofamerica ’s featured charity runners this year. My phone was blowing up for weeks with photos from friends who spotted my face on banners and signage all over the city. One of the strangest, coolest experiences of my life. Truly one of a kind. Thank you to everyone who showed up, sent a message, or chipped in. You helped me hit my fundraising goal for @homebaseprogram and @runformgh and I can’t tell you how much that meant on the bad days. The fundraiser is open for another week if you want to add to it. The work Home Base does for veterans and their families is truly amazing. Link in bio. I LOVE YOU BOSTON!!!

How are you really doing? Thursday night wasn’t just an event… it was a movement of connection, healing, and community. Over 55 Veterans, First Responders, and community members showed up for something real. We had the honor of screening “This Is Not A Draft” by @capnjackcanon — a powerful post-9/11 story of service, sacrifice, and life after war. But we didn’t stop there… We made sure no one walked out carrying it alone 👇 🧘‍♂️ Vets & Pets Yoga 💆‍♂️ The Called Co 🤝 Televeda We also connected our community with real resources: • Homebase • Mighty Oaks Foundation • Freedom for Heroes • Not Service Connected This is what the JMACH SANDBOX is all about: Real people showing up Real conversations that matter Real connection that heals To everyone who came out… you’re the reason this matters. You’re not alone. Never have been. Never will be. 🗓️ Next JMach Sandbox -Laughter is Medicine -FT @kevtheallstar Sunday May 24th 4-8pm — tap follow & stay connected. #JMachSandbox #VeteranMentalHealth #firstrespondermentalhealth #jmachpodcast #jmach

May is Military Appreciation Month and Mental Health Awareness Month As a (proud) military spouse who has gone through two deployments with her husband overseas for months at a time I have see first hand the toll this job takes and the incredible impact mental health services can make in the lives of service members and their families when they return. This year I am once again participating in the Run to Home Base at Fenway!! This event raises money for service members and veterans to provide them with mental health services. Please consider donating or spreading the word! The link to donate is in my bio! #militarysupport #mentalhealthawarenessmonth #runtohomebase #fundraiser
