If you've ordered recently you'll have seen our new bags, our fool is front and centre!
First dibs went to subscribers who would have been receiving these guys for a couple of weeks now. All new orders placed will be in new bags!
They are rice paper and hopefully speak to the quality and craft of the good stuff inside. Made entirely from plant-based materials and biodegradable.
James was on our first foundation course and has got his hands on serving the public and some packaging.

Through out the Foundation course, participants will be matched with a mentor. Over the 8 weeks, they'll have one-on-one chats to support personal growth, set goals, and navigate the future.
After everyone got their morning coffee, we all sat down and tried to answer questions about faith. We explored lots of areas in a safe environment.
Meet one of our mentors, Alex.
Alex joined us at the start of the Foundation and has proved to be an excellent mentor and got a lot of us out of our shells.

This is Luke! During the foundation course, Luke reignited his love for cooking and we all couldn’t be prouder.
We're glad he enjoyed his time with mentors and was always vibing to the music.
During the foundation, we focus on 5 key elements: Hard skills, Soft skills, Mentoring, exploring faith and Community & Fun.
For Hard skills, we made a lot of coffee and a lot of food. With the expertise of Joe and John, everyone got hands-on experience serving each other and the public.
Soft skills tie directly into Hard skills; While serving customers and working with others, this allows us to work on confidence-building, communication and teamwork which preps everyone for events outside of the foundation.
Meet Dan! Dan was on the first foundation course and now works in packaging and distribution for Holy Fool.
He's came so far from when he started and everyone couldn't be more proud.
This is his story
The foundation is an 8-week programme from St Basil’s church which offers a clear pathway to sustained employment using one-to-one mentorship. The Foundation focuses on five key areas: hard skills, soft skills, mentoring, exploring faith, and community & fun.
Participants receive barista and catering training through Holy Fool and MANNA, alongside mentoring, soft skills development and support. Graduates move into work placements with partner businesses, gaining valuable on-the-job experience.

We’re absolutely buzzing to introduce Harry, who’s just completed the Foundation Programme with HF and Manna
Harry has shown a real willingness to learn, brilliant attention to detail, and has fully thrown himself into the world of coffee. He’s been keen to grow in every area of what it takes to run a coffee company — and it’s been a joy to watch.
Next up, Harry will be jumping on our social media to help introduce you to some of the people involved in what we do and to share a few of their stories along the way.
