I envisioned the outcome of this image even before it was created. On a call with @dara_banjo , I got excited the moment she tried on this outfit during our pre-production meeting. I immediately wanted to create something with this neo-classical outfit with an Afro-centric twist. @odebiyi_damilola made execution even easier!
During this session, I taught my Artistic Editorial Lighting Technique with Scenic Backdrops. In this continuous light segment, we created these images using tiny but mighty lights from @ulanzi_nigeria . The results were absolutely mind-blowing, especially against these unreleased scenic backdrops from @zenbackdrops . Slide into their DMs, maybe you’ll get the chance to rent or buy one!

At MASTERING PORTRAITS (@mastering.portraits ), we share without holding back.
Day 1 was all about the process where I broke down my full workflow, then we took it straight from theory to practice.
During this session, I taught my Creative & Signature Shutter Technique style of shooting. For the first few slides, we introduced fog with the @ulanzi_nigeria Fog Ace Machine, and built from there.
I also emphasized one core principle:
Get it right in camera.
Spend less time editing.
90% camera work, 10% post work.
Intentional shooting always wins.
