In honor of hurricane season. Sailshop 1999 during Floyd. Reider doesn’t have much memory from that day but Barton described Reider and Velas reaction to it all as if they were seeing Atlantis. “There was enough current in the water that the path from our house to highway 12 turned into a little Disney ride with the kayaks” Barton also mentioned that Floyd “wasn’t even close to the worst”… First photo is the South side of the Sailshop mid storm.
