This weekend in Chile, @axl_gerard25 took the top spot at the very first edition of the Red Bull Wing Sphere, a new wingfoil event featuring a unique format that blends wave riding and freestyle.
On a spot known for its long, perfect left-handers, Axel consistently posted big scores throughout the competition before securing the win against a stacked field, resulting in an all-French final. 🌊
Beyond the result, this performance has a special meaning. After a major injury earlier this year, Axel has made his return to the highest level in the best possible way.
