The idea behind SECOND HOME was to show what true freestyle means to us. And that can be airtricks, park, and kickers - and in Taíba, that meant wave kickers.
Setting up all the park hacks was super demanding, so most of our focus went there. We ended up running out of time to dedicate more days to wave kickers, but we still managed to get two solid sessions in. Here are a couple of clips from those.

When we started this project, one of the ideas was to build rails straight out of the sand, something that hadn’t been done in kiting before. Way harder than it sounds. Riding sand already makes ollies tricky, and carrying enough grip to really commit to a rail wasn’t easy.
The sand-kicker-to-rail combo ended up being the key. You scrub just enough sand on the kicker, get a proper pop, and suddenly you have the speed and lift that’s almost impossible to find from a pure sand ollie.
Managing to land this trick on it was the cherry on top.

After many years, we’re finally releasing a short film that we’re super stoked about.

This one took a lot of work. At that time (end of July), it was basically just the two of us in Taíba riding. We managed to set up a different feature almost every day, with the help of friends who joined us to move heavy metal rails and build some hacks we were genuinely pumped to ride.
We wanted to focus more on the hack than on the trick itself. That’s why we would only ride each hack for a maximum of two days. We had 18 days total, and we needed to keep moving to achieve what we had in mind. That approach forced us to flow, there was no room to get obsessed with a single trick, because you could miss getting clips on that setup altogether.
Huge thanks to @martinamarcet for all the shots and the edit, and to our friends who were there every step of the way — @sandra.rivasb , @tasktastic , @patriciorodriguez_ , @nicoeckert , @amontteiro.designer & @santiicisneros_
And to our most special place in Taíba, @souldrifters.adventures , for hosting us and making this feel like exactly what it’s called: a second home.
Six years have gone by since El Nihuil, but some things stay the same.
After far too long without working together, we met again in Taíba in July 2025, returning to our park roots to create something we’re genuinely proud of.
