His husband @brunsong has fought a valiant fight to give him the best life possible during this difficult time - the friends he made along the way will miss him but the imprint he made will never be forgotten .
Happy heavenly Mother’s Day to my mom - I spent much of the last years of her life in hospital rooms and when she was well she was glued to her phone or iPad playing online bridge - Born in 1929 she crossed so many bridges in her 90 plus years - Always a fighter and a seeker - avid traveler to her last breath she was a child of her times but always searching and open to the next great adventure - days like this are hard and to all my friends who have experienced this inevitable loss I see you - we all do - to those who still have mothers who may infuriate them at times don’t miss a moment - they are precious - here is to moms everywhere - and yes those are my feet

For me, it’s always been Addison Montgomery on Grey’s Anatomy. Smart as hell, unapologetic, and ultimately chose herself instead of waiting to be chosen.
One of the most surreal outcomes of having my story told in @thepinkpillfilm is that audiences are discovering I named the first FDA-approved product for women’s desire after her. She embodied everything the fight represented for me—women claiming what they deserve without apology.
And then life did something I’m still processing… I found myself sitting across from Kate Walsh just days ago.
While I loved her character, what moved me even more was the woman behind it. I’ve held deep admiration for years over how she opened up about her own health struggle to encourage other women to advocate for themselves and trust their own bodies—even when the system tries to dismiss them.
I’m still blown away by this journey and by the women it continues to bring into my orbit (@hilaryshor@smithsisterslive this would not have happened without you)
