On 31 January 2026, Hetslayer released their debut album. This record is a declaration of strength and a document of visibility. For too long, trans voices have been silenced and erased. Trans people are denied safety and basic human rights. Through resilience and truth, we rise. In living openly and unapologetically, we create space for everyone to feel safe in discovering their true selves. Trans people are people. Fuck the binary!

This record was conceptualised on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, and recorded and released on Djaara Country. We pay our deepest respects to the Traditional Owners of these lands — including the Brotherboys and Sistergirls — and to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge that this land was stolen, and that First Peoples’ sovereignty has never been ceded. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
