Road safety isn’t just about where crashes happen, it’s also about the places where people feel unsafe or uncomfortable walking, cycling, wheeling, driving, or using public transport. One of our aims is to reduce death and serious injury.
Your feedback will help shape priorities and focus on how road safety improvements are delivered across Hertfordshire, working in partnership with communities and local organisations.

The Bash Street Kids have landed in Waltham Cross! 🎨A brand-new Beano-themed mural has been unveiled on the road bridge next to Waltham Cross railway station, bringing colour and character to one of the busiest gateways into the town. Monday marked the opening of the new HertsLynx depot in Buntingford 🚍 – an important step in strengthening the service across East Herts.
The new depot is home to three HertsLynx minibuses, putting vehicles and drivers right where they’re needed to support strong and growing local demand. This new base will help unlock more early morning and later evening journeys, boost reliability and flexibility, and make it even easier for residents to get to work, education, healthcare and social activities when they need to.
