Kevin and Rory at The W Hotel in Punta Cana last month. A 2min glimpse.
The most beautiful, turquoise waters Iāve ever seen but the Caribbean Sea still had nothing on Kevin and Rory. š®āšØ
There was a party catamaran with copious amounts of rum and dancing, a welcome party in a retro speakeasy, getting ready in a paradise spa, an intimate ceremony on the beach (with vows FROM THE HEART), and a vibrant reception under a Punta Cana moon. Come on! Is this real life!
To quote her dad this truly was a storybook beginning for Roryā and now Kevinā as they start the rest of their lives together. It was a privilege to celebrate you two. Congratulations and enjoy this teaser.
The best group to travel with, consume margaritas with, and make art with hands down:

2025: a year Iāll never forget. To my clientsā thank you for making this another magical season. Working alongside you and your teams of talented planners, photographers, designers, makers & creators has been a gift to me! Iām endlessly grateful for the trust youāve placed in H3E and will remain one of your biggest cheerleaders as your families grow. āŖā”
Transparently this has been a challenging year for me. A few months ago, busy season hit the same week my life cracked open. I found myself juggling overwhelming grief and nonstop weddings & events, and I didnāt know how Iād make it through. Every weekend Iād get in my car, compartmentalize what I was going through, show up for my couples, and make movie magic. Then on Sundays, I let myself unravel. Some weeks I had capacity, other weeks I had to move very slowly. At times itās required extra grace to witness myself in it⦠but ultimately itās a privilege to experience both the joy and the heartbreak. Thatās the duality of this industry, of making art, and of being human.
I share this in part to say if youāre going through a season like this, please know youāre not alone. I know it feels isolating (especially talking to those who have built careers based on servicing others on their happiest days ever) but we are not meant to do the hard times without help. My community has held me in a hundred ways, big and small, the last few months. I will never forget their compassion and hope to pay it forward one day.
After a month of healing in the mountains with my family, Iāll return to KC next weekend. Itās bittersweet. Thereās a lot Iām rebuilding for myself in 2026, but Iām committed to continuing to show up ā for my clients, my community, and myself. To anyone who made it this far: thank you for joining me for both the joy and the messy. Iām grateful for it all. āŖā”
2026: Iām rooting for you sweetie, please donāt suck lol
