This summer, I was part of @theacademy Gold Rising Class of 2023 and this experience was incredible. I got to intern with @theblcklst , meet some amazing people within the industry and some amazing peers who have the same love and passion for film that I do. Being able to go to LA for the first time after always wanting to go as a kid was a dream come true. And going for THIS? Wild. I can’t tag everyone, but everyone I met here had some kinda impact on me. From the program leaders to my peers to my mentor to the photographers at the events🫶🏾 Such a blessing fr🙏🏾

Just saw Forever on Variety’s list of 32 overlooked Black TV shows which was crazy cause PERSONALLY it went triple platinum in my home. Shoutout to the work of @marabrockakil@iamreginaking and the thousands of people who made that show happen cause it hitttt. Also, @instakier captured my 2017-2019 high school playlist so well like how’d he do that
