🌟 5 years ago, I created Hello Miette, a petite prop and surface rental studio nestled in Seattle's Central District. So much has unfolded since then (hello, global pandemic) including a total career change. I fully stepped away from working as a stylist and set builder/designer, earned my certification as a life coach, and now spend my days working with creatives and badass humans as an advocate and guide (more on this work over at @bethbatson )
🎨 Despite my shift in focus, I’m always drawn back to my studio. There's an inexplicable magic in playing with color and texture. It grounds me like nothing else. AND it keeps me connected to a community that I care deeply about.
📸 Through it all, my passion remains steadfast - supporting others in bringing their visions to life. With this biz, I’ve shifted away from the prop rentals and made more room for crafting surfaces and backdrops. From custom large-scale backdrops to hand-painted, limited-edition canvas surfaces, I'm up for any creative challenge that comes my way.

Been cleaning out the studio this weekend and getting inspired to create. Also, getting rid of paint remains (long overdue project) makes for pretty moments.
