Three spaces left! Registration closes April 11th. If you’ve been curious about Nourished but haven’t quite taken the leap... this is your moment. Life feels pretty uncertain right now. And the pull to hunker down, push through, keep doing what you’ve always done is real. You’re capable. You’re scrappy. You figure things out. But what if this time, choosing something different is the most powerful thing you can do? Care first. Community first. Connection with yourself and with others first. April 25–27 on Whidbey Island. Movement, breathwork, sensory walks, nourishing meals, real conversation, and actual rest. You’ll leave with tools, practices, and people who get it. If cost is a barrier, send me a message. Reflect & Renew: A Year-End Ritual For Finding Light
December 21st • 10:30am PT • Virtual
Link in bio to join. This year has been a challenging one for many of us. And while it’s tempting to skip ahead and avoid looking back at the past twelve months, there’s a quiet gift in pausing and honoring the experiences that shaped us — both bitter and sweet. On the Winter Solstice, a moment when the light begins to return, I’m hosting virtual workshop — a space for you to reflect, release, and reconnect with what matters most. Together we’ll settle in with meditation, guided journaling, and intentional visioning to create a soft, grounded transition into the year ahead. Gather a warm blanket, a mug of coffee or tea, and your favorite journal.
Come as you are. Leave with clarity, connection, and a little more light. Reflect & Renew
Saturday, Dec 21 at 10:30am PT

Happy Wednesday, friends! I didn’t post here the last two weeks because my own nervous system needed some extra tending to, which meant limiting my screen time for a bit. Today, I’m still feeling a bit amped up. When I sat to meditate this morning, I couldn’t quite settle. So I turned to a breath practice that’s become a steady companion. One that reliably helps me quiet my mind and feel anchored in my body. Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) is a practice I return to time and again. It helps soothe mental noise and bring balance back to the nervous system Here’s how to try it: * Find a comfortable posture. Sit in a stable, upright position (on the floor or in a chair) and let your eyes close. * Position your right hand. Bring your right hand to your nose. Fold your index and middle fingers toward your palm (or rest them gently on your brow line between your eyes). Use your thumb to close your right nostril and your ring finger to close your left. Keep your right elbow relaxed. * Begin with a few natural breaths through both nostrils. * Inhale through your left nostril. Close your right nostril with your thumb and inhale slowly and deeply through the left. * Switch sides. Close your left nostril with your ring finger, release the right, and exhale slowly through the right. * Inhale through the right. After exhaling, inhale slowly through the same (right) nostril. * Continue alternating. Inhale through the left, close it, exhale through the right — and repeat for several rounds. * Keep the breath smooth and steady. Let it guide you toward a quieter rhythm. * To finish, lower your hand and take a few gentle breaths through both nostrils. Note: If you’re congested or have a deviated septum and can’t breathe well through one side, rest your hands on your thighs and simply visualize the breath—inhaling through the left, exhaling through the right, then alternating—keeping your attention softly alternating. Save this for the next time your thoughts feel loud and you need a way to come back to center. #midweektending #pranayama #nervoussystemregulation #reset

Do you ever catch yourself holding your breath at your desk? Shallow breathing might feel small, but it has big effects: · Less oxygen gets to your brain, which impacts focus + energy • your nervous system gets stuck in stress mode instead of shifting into rest + digest Here’s a quick reset: sit tall, pause, and take 3 slow breaths in and out through your nose. Try a count of 5 in, 5 out, letting your belly and back expand. This isn’t just a midweek reset, it’s a practice you can return to daily. Want more simple, science-backed ways to care for your nervous system? Subscribe to my Midweek Tending email (link in bio) and get a new practice in your inbox every Wednesday.

A little late with last week’s Midweek Tending… but maybe that’s perfect. Because who couldn’t use a gentle reset on a Monday morning? ✨ This week’s practice is about those days when nothing seems to work. When the body wakes up already buzzing with stress and anxious thoughts. Instead of pushing through, I invite you to pause, look inward, get curious, and ask: ~ What do you want me to know? ~ What do you need? Sometimes just naming it is enough to shift your state and soften your day. Save this for the next time you wake up buzzing. #midweektending #nervoussystemregulation #IFS #somaticcoaching
