As a registered social enterprise in Singapore, we have several regular initiatives such as pro/low bono therapeutic floral workshops and flower repurposing (wherein we bring post-wedding flowers to a community group). We also make efforts to provide empowerment opportunities for women from challenging backgrounds.   We are constantly on the lookout for new ways and opportunities to reach out to the wider community through Hello Flowers!    Swipe to see our current and past social initiatives:)

Gosh! My first introduction to the work of Hello Flowers! Singapore after many years.    Guess I should start sharing more about what we do beyond the routine flower deliveries and wedding decorations.    My aim was simple at the beginning – to share the same sense of peace and happiness that I found in arranging and working with flowers. Having the space and time to work with flowers were truly a privilege to me.    As time passed, I witnessed the individuals I worked with through Hello Flowers! flourish and develop. Although I yearned to impact even more people, I understood that the natural process of blooming cannot be hurried. Each individual must follow their own timeline and rhythm.   Thus, we embarked on a series of social initiatives to create additional opportunities, aiming to enhance accessibility, particularly for those who lack opportunities, allowing them to partake in the therapeutic benefits of flowers, nature, and the profound human connections that emerge from such experiences.

Hush❤️Leaders | MOE LEMP (Senior Principals) 🌿 @moesingapore LEMP ended their one-week leadership course with Hush - not with another framework, but with a pause. Facilitated by @anthea.ong & @oodakwah This closing Hush session offered senior principals a space to slow down, breathe, and integrate what the week has brought up - before returning to their schools and people. In the quiet, gratitude surfaced again and again: for the journey, for those who walk alongside them, and for the reminder that leadership isn’t only about doing more… it’s about being present. A line that stayed with us: “I believe in you.” Simple words - powerful weight. With thanks to @helloflowerssg for the blooms that shaped the space with care, and Trampoline by @access.sgp for hosting us. 🤍 @reshhiii ✨ Designing a leadership programme or retreat? Consider ending it with a pause. Email [email protected] to explore a Hush❤︎Leaders session.

A fulfilling therapeutic flowers workshop where we had a strong 80 pax of gorgeous strong and creative women . Giving a Yay! to analogue activities without our digital devices. Take the time to handle the different flowers and learn techniques to arrange them to your liking. We love how the attendees beamed with pride and joy with their masterpieces. 😊 #preservedflowers #floralworkshop

Hush ‘AA’ Experience | Anthea Appreciates 🌿 Last week, we held our monthly Hush AA Experience(Anthea Appreciates) gathering - a quiet pause to honour the people who have walked alongside @anthea.ong and the wider family of work over the years. @hushteabar @criticarefundformigrantworkers @palestinianscholarship.sg @agoodspacesg @welcomeinmybackyard @sgmentalhealthmatters @50solove @doctorswithoutborders In a room of just eight, we moved through the 4-zone Hush Experience - Intention → Reflection → Expression → Connection - and watched something gentle but powerful happen: people slowing down enough to hear themselves again… and to meet one another beyond roles and titles. A few words that stayed with us from the circle: rest, surrender, grateful, childlike, cocoon. Sometimes, the quietest spaces hold the loudest truths. With gratitude to Michael Faith Consultants (MFC) for hosting us in their beautiful space, and @helloflowerssg for the blooms that helped shape the room with care. 🤍 If you’ve ever supported Anthea’s work in any way, this was a small way of saying: thank you. With gratitude to: Annie, @thirumisu , Nate Low, @jasonleowcoaching , Catherine James, @koh.chari , Melissa, @anthea.ong , @oodakwah , @reshhiii @jocelynyapcc

In the past, I used to jump straight into teaching during workshops. I would follow the room’s energy and go straight into flowers, tips, techniques — all the head knowledge. I was sooooo eager… and by the end, I’d be completely exhausted. But over time, as I started seeing flowers as part of a therapeutic process, I began to start differently. Now, I invite participants to arrive. To slow down, and to a r r i v e. It’s not always easy. We’re not used to pausing like this. But slowly, people settle in. What followed was one of those mornings where hands were busy and conversations flowed, especially among colleagues who had mostly been meeting virtually. By the end, we were all standing there with our bouquets, a little surprised, a little proud, and affirming one another along the way. One of them even said, “best workshop ever.” And I think it’s because we made space for something more than just learning. And honestly, I made space for myself too. I left feeling rejuvenated. That’s what flowers can do. Not just something nice to look at, but a small moment to pause, connect, and be seen. If this is something you’d like for your team, we’re happy to hold that space. 🌿 Drop us a message to find out more.
