I fell in love with the process and look of film photography in 2023, and it quietly reshaped the way I approach creating art with a camera. Shooting film slowed me down in the best way — it sharpened my intention, asked me to be fully present, and brought a deeper sense of purpose to every frame. Each exposure requires thoughtful consideration, made even more meaningful by not being able to immediately see what I’m capturing.
For a long time, I was hesitant to share more of my film work. It doesn’t always align with the digital rhythm and polish I’ve built visually — but the more I sit with it, the more I realize that difference is exactly what makes it meaningful. Film’s organic texture, soft tones, and honest imperfections carry a timeless quality that feels deeply human. It preserves moments not as they were styled, but as they were felt.

This past year has been a defining season for me.
Not just refining how I shoot, but reshaping how I see. Learning to slow down. To pay attention to what’s already there—the in-between moments, the subtle gestures, the way something actually felt rather than how it looked.
A lot of these frames come from places far from home, but the thread has always been the same. Honest connection. Trust. Letting things unfold without forcing them.
I think that’s what I’ve grown to value most in this work.
As I step into this next wedding season, I feel a deeper sense of clarity and intention behind everything I create. Less noise, more meaning.
